Thursdays.

Thursdays are honestly the easiest day of the week for me. With one class, I have the majority of the day to explore, catch up on work or just relax. Today was a combination of the 3 of those, as I was preparing for a midterm & working on one last paper before Spring Break. Honestly, how is it already Spring Break? Some days, time flies here & on others, the days seem to drag on but to know I am halfway through this program already is insane to me. I am adequately prepared for the rest of the semester to fly by. Between all my upcoming plans, school work, & all the things left to see in London, I'm not sure how I'm going to sleep between now & the end! (Spoiler alert, I will sleep. I value my sleep WAY too much!)

So today, I woke up & Jake & I headed off to go return a few things for him & see if the Bose store could return my headphones, as one side is not really working. Nope, they wanted to charge me basically for a whole new pair. Um, NO? So we stopped to get Jake a new pair of shoes, as he only brought one pair with him here. Then we headed back home so I could study for my exam, which I think went pretty well!

It feels so weird to have to study here, when there's a million things to be explored right outside my window. But I've gotten used to forcing myself to sit down and complete what is necessary of me. It's a weird phenomenon & it's only going to get worse after break. I have a lot more work to complete before the end of the semester, from interviews to LSAT to actual schoolwork, my time is well booked until I return home. && that is JUST the way I like it.

Abroad has taught me a lot about being bored. Bored is a feeling we usually hate but here it has allowed me time to read, watch things, become more educated, or just go out & explore. I have a new appreciation for downtime. That is not to say that I don't like going out & doing things, because I would much rather prefer that, but instead it is to say that sometimes we need to be bored in order to look at the situations around us & truly appreciate them. It allows me a lot of time to think about what I am thankful for & also stay in contact with those who I tend to neglect. I have really come to value communication while here, as that is all you can rely on.

Well, Thursday has basically come & gone. Now it's time to eat, write a paper, go to a pub, & pack for spring break! Please be aware, for the next week, my posts will most likely be short & full of pictures taken on my phone. Camera photos & long recaps will come at the end of my vacation. Be patient & enjoy!
