Westminster Abbey

Today was another adventure filled day. The morning started off nice and slow, with some research and future trip planning.

We then headed to Westminster Abbey for our tour! Sadly, I don't have pictures of the actual inside of the church as they are forbidden. The church is hundreds of years old and MASSIVE.

I never knew there was a school behind the church and a monestary. So it was really neat to hear the behind the scenes stories. Half the church was built and the other half was completed later on. You can see the definitive line between the old and new parts.

If you ever visit here, visit the Abbey. It is absolutely stunning. It features the graves of some of the most famous kinds queens, musicians, authors, and scientists. Issac Newton and ironically, Charles Darwin are some of the graves we saw.

It was an absolutely beautiful tour! Sorry I didn't post my update sooner! happy weekendddd!
