Sundays are for getting lost...

Literally.

I woke up this morning, ready to go off to church and for coffee with a friend. Little did I know, half my coffee date would be cut off because I was lost in Paddington Station. Here's the dilemma. My friend only uses wifi and the station does not have accessible wifi. So I arrived for our coffee date and she was trying to meet me at the station. Except the station has two spots where the Circle Line connects. So we just kept missing each other! It all worked out and we ended up having a lovely chat.  OH, and yes, that is the station that Paddington Bear is named after. Here's a glimpse at the massive train station... you get my point?

Sometimes, it's better to spend time with friends than do your homework... Sorry mom! I really look forward to getting to know different people on this trip and heading home with some new friends. I was hoping this experience would bring that about and it is doing just that.

Today's update isn't about to be very thrilling. I just went to church and had coffee with a friend. But you know what? Sometimes the days like today are just what you need. Conversations that seem to flow so easily and last for hours. A healthy dose of friendship can fix a multitude of problems.

So what's coming up soon? Well, mama bear and my aunt arrive in 32 days! How exciting is that? While they're here, we're off to Paris for a weekend and Rome for another. I have (potential) upcoming trips to Dublin, Berlin and Florence. Spring break is going to be spent in Florence, exploring the local areas as well. A few day trips to Bath, Dorset, and maybe Wales are spattered in there as well. Traveling around here on a budget isn't too bad - I'm trying to take advantage of the area while I can! But I'm sure you'll hear more about my adventures and plans as time goes on.

Scrambled post but I leave you with a thought this Sunday: if you could do anything and step out of your comfort zone, what would you do? I truly believe studying abroad was my step out of my comfort zone and I am growing by leaps and bounds. Maybe it's time to challenge yourself to step out of your comfort zone and watch how you grow, as a person.

This week is to be filled with papers and readings. Maybe a few cool pictures to show you here and there. I plan to sometime soon document my trip to school and home so you can see what a typical day in London is like for me. (Every day is different but you get the point).

Well, that's all my ramblings for today. Hope you all had a great weekend and looking forward to sharing my upcoming week with you. Thanks for following along!
