Further North in the UK...

You find Scotland! So here I am for just over 48 hours. In the land of castles, haggis (you don't even wanna know), and adorable houses.
We ventured out of our apartment at 6am this morning to catch the train to the airport. We made it with plenty of time and proceeded to board our flight with EasyJet. After a slightly bumpy hour flight, we safely landed in Edinburgh, Scotland.
After a half an hour bus ride to the center city, we started to explore. We explored the Royal Mile and stopped in a few shops. We ended up visiting the Holyroodhouse Palace, the Queen's official residence in Scotland. It was absolutely gorgeous and in case you were all concerned, my future residence. If only my prince charming would fly his way over from the US so we can take control of this adorable palace.
I can't even imagine what it would be like to live in a place like that. Feeling like you cannot touch anything for fear it might break! Or being so particular about fashion, being proper, or timetime schedules. I value my relaxation a bit too much! However, the castle is nestled right near Athurs Seat (the supposed home of Camelot) which we intend on walking up tomorrow. Rumor has it, there is a beautiful view of the city from the top!
As for tonight, we're headed off to eat and check out some Scottish pubs. Then, early to rise tomorrow as we intend on visiting Arthurs Seat and the Edinburgh Castle.
We're headed back early Sunday morning. Here's to doing all we can do in the next 36 hours! Happy weekend!
Lastly, photos aren't allowed in the palace but I snuck one of the King's bed! Shhhh... don't tell!
